I was shooting some images of Katy for an upcoming article on lighting. All of these are shot with a basic beauty lighting set up consisting of one light about 45 degrees above and directly in front of the model with a reflector below.  

One image was shot with about $2200 in lighting gear consisting of:

If you can't tell which is which, I'm not telling. The bottom line is light is light. We pay more for  high powered lights and heavy duty equipment and convenience accessories, but we can often do the same job with much cheaper equipment.
