January 9, 2016 Water Drops
My friend Bill from the PSC has recently setup a system for photographing water drops. The system will control the number of drops, the timing between drops and fire the strobes at the proper timing. After just a couple of minutes of experimenting, I was able to get these images. The flat crown is the second water drop impacting the rising column from a first drop. It's a complicated rig, but it produces amazing, consistent results.
